Throughout my career I have led marketing strategy and execution for a wide variety of events: large-scale conferences, webinars, virtual events, and live experiences designed to drive revenue and community engagement.

At Social Media Examiner, I played a central leadership role in marketing and executing Social Media Marketing World, a 4,000-person international conference. I led field marketing initiatives on-site, helping drive the sale of 1,000+ next-year conference tickets with a 30% on-site conversion rate. I also helped train up to 200 conference volunteers to uphold premium-quality customer service standards.
In later roles I continued to support both in-person conferences and virtual events, including managing affiliate-driven promotion for approximately 20 events per year, coordinating partners and sponsors, and planning integrated launch events tied to product releases and personal brand initiatives.
I integrate event marketing with content, email campaigns, partnerships, and post-event retention strategies to extend the revenue impact beyond the event itself.
