In past roles I have worked with entrepreneurs whose personal brands are closely tied to their businesses. I’ve worked with each of them in different ways to build and maintain their personal brands.
Joan Burge pioneered the training industry for Administrative and Executive Assistants, founding her company Office Dynamics International in 1990 after 20 years as an EA herself. I was hired to build her personal brand and expand her message of women’s empowerment at any age, Red Lipstick ON!, to broader audiences. I led the brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution. We published and launched her new book with online and in-person events, built a website, e-commerce store, newsletter, social media platforms, and a media kit. We developed and launched quarterly community-building events, a paid course, and a high-ticket mastermind group.

Mike Stelzner is the founder of Social Media Examiner and the annual Social Media Marketing World conference. He is a leading voice in training for marketers, and is known for curating and providing a platform for experts in emerging digital marketing technologies and social media platforms. Mike’s personal brand is built around interviewing these experts on his podcast, and ‘practicing what we preach’ by showcasing behind-the-scenes marketing at Social Media Examiner. As Marketing Manager, I promoted the podcast to expand viewership, and co-starred in and promoted a three-year YouTube series called The Journey to Social Media Marketing World.
Lisa Nichols is a world-famous motivational speaker who was featured in the movie The Secret. She keynotes on stages around the world and has books and courses on abundance thinking, motivation, and speaking techniques through her company, Motivating the Masses. Lisa’s personal brand is built around partnerships and social media. As Partnerships Manager, I vetted, negotiated, and promoted a wide range of opportunities to collaborate, including speaking on stages and podcasts, leading her affiliate program, promoting co-written books and a tv interview show, and even a one-woman Broadway show called When My Soul Speaks.
